Size matters

Here is my latest project – a Harris tweed rug

It is rather small (55 x 40cm) and took 0.5kg of Harris tweed selvedge to make. The crochet hook was made by my husband in an inspired moment, and has a diameter of 2.5cm. The whole thing was done in trebles as it was quite hard to get a stitch big enough to stitch back into! It is going through the washing machine just now, and I am wondering how much it will shrink. In any case it should be big enough for the cats to curl up on in front of the Rayburn.
