I said a while ago that I wanted to try a crossed trebles blanket in a blue colourway and here it is:
The yarns are Scheepjeswol cotton 8 (4-ply) in grey, grey-blue, light grey and jeans blue, and Rowan summerlite (4 ply) in high tide.
I had hoped to finish it in time to take a photo with the bluebells in flower. I didn’t quite manage it but I have kept the name anyway!
Beautiful colours and so neat looking. Stunning.

Thanks Cathy. The Cotton 8 is lovely yarn to work with, and really not expensive.

I really like the effect of crossed trebles and I love the colour combo – blues win me over every time!

Thanks Eleanor. I can recommend the stitch for just about anything where having an open effect is a plus.
I have used it for dishcloths, baby blankets and cushions so far!

I’ve used it once on a jumper. It made a V-Stitch type look but slightly less gapy which was a plus for me

I would love to see a picture – did you blog it?

No I’m afraid it was in my pre-blogging days! Perhaps I’ll have to do a post sometime of pre-blog makes
